What is Nor'West Optimist Hockey? |

NOR'WEST OPTIMIST HOCKEY is strictly a hockey development program. We have no teams or a league of our own. Our goal is to provide quality hockey instruction at reasonable cost to families in northwest London and across the city. Technically speaking, we provide 'infrastucture support' to all minor hockey organizations in London and area, like any other local instructional program. If young 'Hockey Heroes' want to use time outside their regular hockey season schedule to improve their game, they can step on the ice with us! Deposit your Registration in the BLACK MAILBOX with the Nor'West Optimist Hockey logo (horse head & compass) at the bottom of the stairs. |

Nor'West Optimist Hockey's September Development Program returns to Thompson Arena, UWO (5th year) for 4 Saturdays starting September 11, 2010. Go to about "About Nor'West" on our website menu, then CLICK on 'Programs', 'Schedules' and 'Registration' for more information. If you want a printable copy of our September 2010 Registration Form, CLICK on REGFORM10 Please note the Nor'West Optimist Hockey Refund Policy now listed on the Registration Page of our website. Families who have participated in our September Hockey Development Program since it began 5 years ago will notice that we have increased our Registration Fee for the 1st time ($60.00 in 2010). This is due to the introduction of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and increased ice rental fees. Nevertheless, providing quality instruction at 'reasonable' cost remained the key factor in deciding what this increase should be. |

 Nor'West Optimist Hockey thanks the Fanshawe Optimist Club
Nor'West Optimist Hockey thanks the Fanshawe Optimist Club for their financial support of our September 2010 Hockey Development Program. They've donated $600.00 for sponsored registration of 10 young 'Hockey Heroes'. This translates into lots of hockey fun and instruction for some very deserving kids. Please thank them by supporting the programs they offer in our communities! Thanks for being such great Friends of Youth!!! |
